// OVERVIEW
DCExporter is a browser extension that captures Discord chat messages within a time range or selection you choose, and exports them as formatted content into a Notion page you control. This policy explains what data the extension handles, where it is stored, and who it is shared with.
Last updated: July 27, 2026.
// DATA WE ACCESS
While active on discord.com, the extension reads content already visible to you in the page in order to build the export:
- Message text, timestamps, and edit status
- Author display name and clan/guild tag
- Attachments, embedded links, code blocks, and reactions
// DATA WE STORE
The following is saved locally on your device via the browser's extension storage. It is never transmitted to the developer or any server operated by the developer:
- Your Notion integration token (API key)
- Your default Notion parent page ID
- Your layout style preference and floating widget position
// DATA WE SEND, AND TO WHOM
When you run an export, the captured messages are sent directly from your browser to the Notion API (api.notion.com), authenticated with the token you provided, and written to the Notion page you selected. That page belongs to you or your Notion workspace, not to the developer.
No data is sent to the developer, to any analytics service, or to any advertising service. The extension does not track your browsing activity outside of discord.com.
// YOUR CONTROLS
- Clear your saved token and preferences at any time from the extension's options page
- Uninstalling the extension removes all locally stored data
- Revoke the Notion integration's access from your Notion workspace settings at any time
